Track or Court Painting or repainting:

The next most common service that our crews end up performing each season is painting or repainting different types of athletic flooring: Here are the typical questions we ask any potential customer when it comes to a painting project.

Athletic tracks: indoors or Outdoors, rolled rubber or polyurethane, 145M to 400M, four to ten lanes. How many events? Runaways, and tick marks?

Courts: What sport? How many courts? What is the surface: rolled rubber, polyurethane Vinyl, pad and pour (wood is not something that we handle.)

PICKELBALL

This section of our website will be dealing with everything related to Pickelball, and only Pickelball. In the last five years, Pickelball in terms of popularity is taking off like a rocket. Six of the most popular countries are USA, Canada, France, Spain.

In 2023, Sportek LLC painted repaired numerous Pickelball Courts.

The two Universities where we painted Pickelball courts were

Earlham College in Richmond IN: Indoor courts On Mondo

Rutgers University, Newark NJ : Outdoor courts, on Acrylic

A Note on the outdoor pickelball court repair and painting: usually a customer will have enough budget to fill cracks and then reapply coating to cover the cracks: that was not the case with this project, but that is what we would do in most cases.

Out of all the different court flooring that one could use on their indoor Pickelball courts, we recommend vinyl sports flooring. That is the reason why Sportek got involved with Icon Surfaces. They have an amazing vinyl product.

There is one customer that we did some business with in 2022 that uses vinyl for their indoor Pickelball courts and that its is Forekicks from Massachusetts. We repainted all over their pickelball Courts in 2022.
